Welcome to Operations
The operations department focuses on the smooth functioning of the daily operational tasks and activities. This includes maintaining a safe and healthy environment, supporting staff, ordering and stocking supplies, scheduling maintenance services (via the work order system), and providing administrative support. The purpose of the operation department is to ensure that the center runs efficiently, allowing the teaching staff to focus on the children’s educational needs.
The operations department also plays a crucial role in maintaining compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements. By keeping accurate records, managing documentation and meeting all reporting deadlines, the operation department helps ensure that the center can continue to operate and provide quality care for children. Thus, the operation department serves to support the center’s mission of providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for young children.

The Operations Area Manager is responsible for mobilizing resources for the various teams at FCR. Training materials and company technology flow through Operations to ensure agency structure. The Operations Area Manager also maintains the company website, ChildPlus, FCR University, and more. Event logistics and coordination also fall to Operations to ensure a well-run program.
Protecting our children and ensuring that they have the highest quality of learning and playing environment is of the utmost importance at FCR. To this end, our Environmental Health and Safety team work diligently to keep our sites in peak condition. This includes playground management, fire safety, sanitation, and site maintenance. Through the work order system, our team quickly and efficiently determines necessary repairs as they are reported. Our team takes pride in the work required behind the scenes to keep FCR operating to its maximum potential.
In a world increasingly focused on proven outcomes, it is vital that organizations have reportable data on which to base their decisions. The FCR HS/EHS Outcomes Review is a quarterly meeting in which the agency looks at gathered data to determine effectiveness in its programs towards the goal of school readiness. The Systems & Data Coordinator is also responsible for Outlook groups and ChildPlus upkeep and support, amongst other projects.
