About Course

This module will:

Introduce the participant(s) to the fundamental concepts of Growth Mindset. By completing activities, participant(s) will learn about the difference between a Fixed and Growth mindset and complete a self-assessment to determine what they should consider focusing on in the development of their own mindset.
Assist participants to understand the power and purpose of a growth mindset and how to put it into action to achieve greater success and performance. By cultivating a growth mindset participants will identify strategies to assist with growth, and, most importantly, strategies to achieve individual goals. You’ll learn the difference between a growth and fixed mindset and the consequences of each.
Focus on the fundamental concepts of Growth Mindset strategies within teams. By completing activities, participant(s) will learn about GroupThink, characteristics of teachers, parents, coaches and staff who are committed to the journey of growth mindset.

Participants will understand the meaning of fixed and growth mindset.
Participants will understand why people differ.
Participants will understand the abilities, traits, and skills associated with fixed and growth mindsets.
Participants will understand their own mindset through the space of self-insight.
Participants will learn about how learning impacts the brain waves.
Participants will learn about the power of lifelong learning.
Participants will learn about strategies to use to growth their mindset.
Participants will learn about how learning impacts the brain waves.
